Privacy Policy

The Reformatory Studio (“we”) is opening in Chippewa Township, Pennsylvania. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect when you visit this site or join our waitlist, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you join the waitlist: your email address (required), and optionally your first name, phone number and ZIP code. After joining, you can also choose to tell us which class times and days work for you, your reformer experience, and how you heard about us.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
• Automatically: like most websites, the service that hosts this site may log basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type.

How we use it

We use your email and first name to send you updates about the studio, such as our opening, class information and early access. We use your ZIP code and schedule answers to understand where our members are and to plan class times. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Joining the waitlist does not obligate you to buy a membership or book a class.

Email and text messages

By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive email updates from The Reformatory Studio about our opening, classes and memberships. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, or by contacting us. If you give us your phone number, we will not send you promotional text messages unless you have separately said yes to them.

Who helps us handle it

We use outside services to run the site. Your waitlist information is stored with our database provider (Supabase). The site is hosted by Netlify, and our email is provided through Namecheap. This site also loads its fonts from Google. These services handle information only to provide their service to us.

Advertising and cookies

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure how our ads are doing, this site uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta. It lets Meta know when someone visits our site or joins the waitlist after seeing one of our ads. The pixel may collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your device and browser, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Meta’s use of that information is described in Meta’s own privacy policy. You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings and in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to stop emailing you, or to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you. Just email us at the address below, and every marketing email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information until you ask us to remove it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or storage service can promise perfect security.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
